Why Choose Electroless Nickel Magnet?

Full Surface Uniform Coverage:

The electroless nickel plating process has no "current shielding effect," enabling the formation of a dense coating with consistent thickness on complex-shaped magnet surfaces (including deep holes, recesses, and edges), providing complete, no-blind-spot protection.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance:

Medium-to-high phosphorus electroless nickel coatings (6–12% P content) feature a dense structure and extremely low porosity, effectively preventing corrosion of the NdFeB substrate in humid, salt spray, and mildly acidic/alkaline environments. They can pass neutral salt spray (NSS) tests for 96 to 1000 hours.

Minimal Impact on Magnetic Properties:

The coating is non-magnetic or weakly magnetic (precisely controllable by adjusting the phosphorus content) and does not significantly reduce the remanence, coercivity, or maximum energy product of the magnet, ensuring device output performance.

High Hardness and Wear Resistance:

As-plated hardness is approx. 500–600 HV, which can be increased to 900–1000 HV after heat treatment, providing scratch and wear resistance for magnets during dynamic assembly or vibration environments.

Good Adhesion and Solderability:

The coating has high adhesion strength to the NdFeB substrate (passing scratch or thermal shock tests) and can be directly soldered or used for electrical connections, simplifying subsequent electroless nickel magnet component assembly processes.
