Normally the bar magnet could be devided into three materials, sintered NdFeB magnet, ferrite magnet and SmCo magnet.
- Sintered NdFeB magnet. It is the most popular magnet in the market. It have the super high magnetic performance. The maximum magnetic energy product is 10 times higher than the ferrite magnet. It could also be produced into different shapes. The highest working temperature is also very high. Meanwhile is is the hard magnet. The magnetic performance is also stable. It is widely used in the market because of the competitive cost performance. However it is easy to oxidize. We need to make the surface coating to anti-oxidation. Normally we use nickel coating. It is also depends on the requirement of the application.
- Ferrite magnet. It is made by the ceramic process. It is hard magnet. It is also crispy. However the ferrite magnet have the good temperature tolorance. The price is competitive. It is also the widely used permanent magnet.
- SmCo magnet. It is the alloy which made of allumium, nickel, cobalt, iron and other trace metal elements. We could use the foundry technology making different shapes and sizes. The SmCo magnet could the lowest reversible temperature coefficient. The working temperature is more than 600℃.
